Hey fellow dA peeps. Hope you all are doing well. I'm here to write and share another wonderful topic about my recent weekend, which was my 24th birthday celebration and I was so flattered with everything around me. First off, my best mate Jessica planned a 3-day/2-nights trip to Ipoh with the rest of our good friends  Jonathan, Jimmy, Felix, Kenny, Terry, and Marissa.

On 05/11/2010. We arrived to set our base at Sun Inns Ipoh and went off for some nice visits at the kaya-puff shops, chicken rice dinner, then have a nice drink at Old Town White Coffee with my old college mate Ryan. Was good to see him again.

Next day, 06/11/2010. The event itself. Woke up with a nice refreshing morning face and headed off for some "dim sum" breakfast. Recommended by Jonathan himself. It was truly enthusiastic of him to take us to so many nice places in Ipoh. After that, we traveled to the Lost World of Tambun waterpark for some wet and wild fun. Those evil heads (especially you, Jess!!! RARR, EVIL!) planned to drown me down since I was the birthday girl. And yes, they did drag me to the deeper spot. But alas, the guys couldn't because I was too afraid to get dumped into the waves. Therefore, they spared me my 'life'. XD Terry got me a nice white tiger plush as a gift. It was really nice of him yay. I never expected that.
Dinner was fantastic. We get to dine at a casually fancy place which served us some nice Chinese delicacies, including the butter chicken. LOL. After that, my friends sparked things up by handing out the birthday cake and the restaurant had some kiddy birthday song playing, looping till the end. It was funny! Then at night, we played Twister. Guys will be twisting with guys while girls twist with girls. Sad that no girls win because...I accidentally knocked Marissa off! Both of us were a tie. But that was hilarious!!! Should have seen her face!
After that, it was present time, and again, Jess and her darling Felix wrapped up the present with a whole lot of newspapers and making the outer wrapper as the most attractive one. You know what, it was such a torture to tear the whole thing!!! gaaaaahhhhh, but all in all, it was worth it. I got a very nice SpiBelt (Small Personal Item Belt) from Jonathan himself while he contributed his part for another big gift with the rest. The major gift was a StarCraft II Collector's Edition box, I'm very touched guys. Jess, Jon, Jim, Felix, and Kenny, this is the best gift ever. Guess nothing beats it? Hahaha. And to my bestest high school mate eversince, AnnLin, thanks for your part as well, you didn't make it for the trip and wish you were here! That was the day that I will remember.

Next day, 07/11/2010. We went for some nice brunch and had some tasty white coffee and Ipoh noodles. Next, we quickly went to grab some kaya-puffs and salted chickens before we leave the town. Then visited the Kuan Yin Temple and next was, Kellie's Castle. Weird thing was, I couldn't capture much from there...something went wrong with my camera...or was it something else? And after that, we headed back home.

Anyway guys, I really appreciated everything, you have my most undying gratitude. 06/11/2010 will be the date that shall not be forgotten. I had so much fun with you guys. Hope we'll do this again some time. I'm gonna update more after this, if anything happens on the second round. Now, photos!
